Dental Hygienist

Dental hygienist

If you undergo any treatment such as bridgework then you will be asked to visit the hygienist who can help remove plaque and work out oral health plans.

What to expect

When you go to your first hygenist appointment, the hygienist will want to examine your teeth and gain an understanding of the situation regarding your mouth. Once that has been done they will then work out a treatment plan that is specifically designed for your teeth and be the most effective at removing any plaque. Followup appointments will be similar to this but the hygenist may take action such as removing plaque or preventing teeth from drifting. You are encouraged to ask questions if you have any and the hygienist will be happy to provide you with the answers whether it be a demonstration on brushing your teeth to preventing bad breath.
